Before you decide to choose us as the clinic to look after you we should tell you about our exclusive complimentary dental implant consultation package worth £399 (the consultation costs £99 but is refundable when you go ahead with treatment). Our dental implant consultation package includes a full mouth health assessment. State of the art 3D x ray using the worlds most advanced Sirona XG3D scanner. Our team will explain the whole process from start to finish.
Dr Greig Mclean, our implant surgeon who is both a registered Dentist and Medical doctor will listen to your concerns and why you have come for your consultation. The team will discuss the smile possibilities that will suit your face, from tooth shape to lip support and chewing and smiling.
Greig will discuss your 3D bone scan with you, assessing your suitability for dental implant implant treatment. Please don’t worry if you have been told by another dentist that you cannot have dental implants. Greig is a leading international lecturer for NeoDent implants and is trained in the revolutionary Zygomatic implant technique which is allowing patients who were previously not suitable to have implants to have the smile they always dreamed of.
The next step once you have had your initial consultation and been given a guide and price for your treatment is to come back and see us again. At this visit you can ask any questions that you may have, we will review your new smile plan and explain the process again.
We will also finalise how your new smile will be going to look so that you get the best result possible. This can be done using a 3D mock up of your perfect new smile.
When you come in for the day of your treatment Greig will make sure you are completely numb and if you have chosen sedation will carefully sedate you. He will then prepare your mouth for your implant or implants. This can quite often involve the removal of damaged or broken teeth or just the careful preparation of your jaw to accept your precision implant or implants.
All of this is done based on your own personal digital treatment plan. Once the procedure is complete you can relax whilst your new teeth are created by our Master Dental Technician Cameron.
These are then fitted within a couple of hours or the end of the day. In some cases these teeth will be your final fully fixed tooth or teeth.
We will check in with you following the day of your treatment and make sure everything is healing well. If you have any concerns or questions then we will answer these for you.
Ususally we will have you booked in to see Greig and the team 10 to 14 days later. At this stage he will check that everything is healing well and looking good. This usually takes about 30 minutes and almost all patients find it completely comfortable.
We will also book you in with our amazing Dental therapist team to show you how to look after your new smile and make sure they stay sparkly and clean.
After 12 to 16 weeks we will book you back in to assess how you are getting on with your new smile. We will take precise measurements of your face and how you suit your new smile.
Any changes that you would like to make will be fed back to both Greig and Cameron and any changes planned for your final smile can be discussed. At this stage we will alter or create a new final smile for you based on your feedback and new smile goals.
Along with this we will ensure you are properly shown how to take care of your new smile.
